01
Cedar as a visual starting point
The colour and grain of cedar give this collection its warm interior language. Timber varies naturally between boards. Review the actual species, grade, surface treatment and sample before agreeing to a finish; a screen cannot communicate every variation in tone.
02
A considered exterior
A charcoal facade can sit quietly against evergreens or snow. Compare the maintenance instructions for the proposed cladding with the amount of attention you want to give it. Confirm the coating, fixings, weather detailing and any care requirements in the final specification.

03
Glass and privacy
A generous window brings a wider outlook but also changes sightlines. Consider the view from neighbouring properties, cleaning access and the location of the heater. The glazing system, safety requirements and thermal design are technical choices to verify with the supplier.
04
Equipment deserves equal care
Choose heating and controls for the actual room and its glazing. Ask for documentation appropriate to the Canadian installation, the manufacturer’s instructions and the required clearances. Avoid choosing a heater on appearance alone. Lighting and accessories should also be suitable for their intended environment.
